For the 7th consecutive year, Swim Florida will host USA Swimmings Open Water National Championships, and OPEN WATER FESTIVAL.  Our club has been in the forefront of making Open Water Swimming one of the fastest growing sports in the country, and one that will  be an Olympic event this year.

One of the bggest needs for this summers open water festval, is that of boats.
Boats play a huge part in the safety of our swimmers, as well as for our officials.  If you have a boat, or have access to one, your help is greatly needed.  The event takes place May 30th - June 2nd with the big need for boats being May 30th, and 31st.   Also, for the 25K swim, The swim around Estero Island, each participant is reqired to have an escort, either kayak, or power boat.
